The Cardiac Rehab staff welcomed family and friends to the 20th Annual Reunion Walk.

When the walk started twenty years ago, it was a community walk event. As the years went by and more people had gone through Cardiac Rehab, the walk became a Reunion Walk, with all past Cardiac Rehab patients and their families invited to attend. The walk used to take place at Robbin's Island, but moved to the YMCA after they opened in Willmar and we began partnering in heart healthy programs.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with our patients every year and thank them for their participation in Rice Cardiac Rehab. It's also a great opportunity for patients to meet up with friends they may have made while in Cardiac Rehab. We work with people for an extended period of time - up to three or four months - and get to know everyone well, so this event is a great way for us all to keep in touch and celebrate their health.
