The Rice Environment

Professional staff at Rice Memorial Hospital work together and support each other in a collaborative practice to provide high quality patient care.

Excellent working conditions and quality of life can be attested to by the fact that there are no significant staffing shortages at Rice. Today Rice employs approximately 900 people and has almost 200 physicians on its active and courtesy medical staff. Rice is governed by a seven member hospital board appointed by the mayor.

The application process

Your resume or application will be evaluated for the skills, education and work experience our positions require. Your qualifications will compared with those of all other candidates who have applied.

Those candidates who are selected for interview will be contacted by phone withinone to two weeks following the receipt of application. Those candidates who are interviewed will be informed of the status of their application. We retain applications and resumes for six months for future consideration. After that time, we require a new application.
