Hours Part-time (.5)
Shift rotating shifts; every other weekend
Education/Training High school graduate or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.  Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
Experience Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred, or has satisfactorily completed training program.
Job Knowledge

Working knowledge of personal care activities, transfer techniques.
A knowledge of growth and development; specifically an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process. An understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Description: Under the supervision and/or direction of the Unit Coordinator, Charge Nurse or Staff Nurse, the Nursing Assistant performs various duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established methods and procedures of the Hospital.
