and plan treatments for patients of all ages, operate physical therapy
equipment and procedures, understand pathology and contra-indication
to treatment, knowledge of anatomy, physiology, growth and development
and hospital policy. |
| Description |
The
individual in this position provides professional treatment for individuals
in various settings owned by Rice Hospital and/or for time contracted
to other Agencies. This therapist's primary focus is outpatients,
but other areas to which this individual can provide therapy services
would include inpatients at Rice Memorial Hospital, nursing home residents
at Rice Care Center, home care clients;
patients participating in aquatic therapy at MinnWest Technology Campus pool, vestibular rehab with Dr. Janing, and other
agencies, as per contract. The therapist is responsible for professional
assessment (evaluation), treatment, and communication. The individual
also participates in department related activities, at the discretion
of the department director, designed to maintain and increase professional
skills. |
